A Coffee Table made from Scrap from various places I worked.  All of it was good wood but in too small of pieces to be useful to the people who were working with it.  I started by gluing up the massive block of wood and sanding it smooth.  From there the concept developed to CNC the block so that the outer edges look very thin while the center retains it's hefty thickness.  Hand Bent Stainless steel legs. round out the project.
